Devlog Week 9
Hey, everyone, its Max again for this weeks devlog.
------Max---------
This week I hadn't much to do as on our burn down chart for this project, I had completed most of my assigned tasks. Though I had done this I still wanted to improve the game. So I looked over the code of the game and noticed the flashlight code wasn't very clean. I looked up many different examples of flashlight codes and added them together to make my code look better and run much more smoothly. And with my flashlight code working exceptionally well, I added another mechanic, the battery level on the flashlight. This will force the players to preserve their battery level, and help add another level of difficulty in getting away from the wolf.

This week was another major week for me as I got a good idea! What better way to make a game than a game based on sound! I realised having a flashlight was not good enough and there needed to be a 2nd way of allowing the player to recognise when the enemy was nearby. So I ended up adding 2 audios. One for the players footsteps, and one for the wolfs footsteps. It took a while to get the range perfect where it wasn't too big where you could hear the wolf far away or too sudden where you only heard the wolf last second.
